On Friday night i attended TIFF (Toronto international film festival) and went to the premier for Colossal a movie starring Anne Hathaway and Jason Sudeikis. Colossal is a sci-fi monster film, and i can honestly say i have never seen anything like it before. It surrounds Gloria (Anne Hathaway) a party girl who moves back to her home town and reconnects with an old friend (Jason Sudeikis) after a night of drinking she sees on the news that a monster is attacking Seoul and destroying the city. The next day after coming out of a haze, she discovers that this monster is somehow connected to her. I won't give much away but there was a mix of action, comedy and a lot of emotion coming through both of the main actors. As for my outfit i went with this black lace dress from Zara [exact link here!] i think my favourite part is the ruffling on the sleeves and the neck. i've been really into shirts (and i guess dresses) that have those ruffles on the neck i think its an extra detail on an outfit as well as it reminds me of the victorian era (my favourite of course.) I also think the back is beautiful i love the cutouts, its like having an open back but not really. i also wanted to feature the details on the front part of the dress so i went with a low wavy ponytail with a gold crown headband. if you want to create a similar hair look look for those headbands that have the little teeth on the ends (not the elastic ones) and of course these big statement earrings and a gold clutch. Since the outfit was only black and gold i needed another colour so i painted my nails read (this is rare... i never paint my nails) and put on my favourite red lipstick! overall it was a great night and i can't get enough of this dress!
Wowww, I don't know what I love most, the jewelry, the heairband, the dress ss just everything altogether!
