Another preppy look to get you in the mood for fall! I love a good plaid skirt in the fall and winter, its like florals for spring....groundbreaking I know. I've always loved how well they pair with a blazer especially if its navy. Tomorrow is the first official day of fall, but we are already getting some beautiful sweater weather! Fall truly is the best time of the year (I feel like I say this about every season.... LOL just go with it) I've always loved Varsity style sweaters I think they are so cute and always make me think of the 1950s. Ever since last year I've been on the hunt for a vintage varsity sweater and this summer I finally found THE PERFECT ONE. First of all its red, My favourite colour to wear AND the perfect colour for a varsity sweater. Its in my size, NOT oversized which is what I typically find..... AND it has my initial on it! I believe it was about $50 from Etsy (Including shipping) so as soon as I saw it I jumped on it! I checked out right as I added it to my cart. It's vintage from the 70s but it has that 50s look to it as well... or maybe its because it reminds me of the pep rally scene from grease where Sandy is wearing the cheerleader uniform (But in inverted colours)
I think varsity fashion is so cute and it looks amazing in the fall... Not sure if its my Peter Pan syndrome talking but I really love it. I love a mini drop waist dress! I think they are so fun and flattering especially when worn with heels! This dress is vintage from the 60s and its one of my favourite dresses. I love the deep green colour it makes it the perfect transition piece to go from summer to fall. To give it more interest I added this black ribbon to the collar that I got from an old blouse. The little strappy heels are Marc Fisher and the black and white hat is vintage (Which tbh makes the outfit look more 60s). Fall is officially here ! I am SO excited to start styling some fall looks. Fall fashion is so much fun because you can play around with layering and adding more textures! For this look I am wearing this blue pinafore dress (Its actually a kids school uniform) and I layered that over a light blue blouse. It has a very prep school uniform look to it, which is actually one of the trends I will be wearing this season! Prep school style was all over the runways this season. which inspired me to film a Prep school inspired Lookbook, which you can find below!

OK for some reason stores have like ZERO winter coats and the only websites that had capes were shein, zaful and those types of online stores OR high end designers. I’ll update this section later when more stores add winter clothes.
