Winter Bloom

We are ending the year off with a cold wave.... I don't what it is but as soon as christmas is over the temperature always drops significantly. Like yes I understand that its officially winter now but it seems like New Years is always freezing, which means the worst months of the year are coming (January, February, March) With all the snow that's outside and the colder air I'll probably be spending a lot more time inside, and let me tell you, for someone who loves to spend time outside it can be a little depressing. To help with that I think I will be incorporating some winter florals into my wardrobe. Starting with this floral dress from Shein and it is the Floral Print Flare Dress with belt (Link here). I love the fit and flare style of the dress (I did wear  it with a petty coat underneath for extra lift) as well as the straight neckline. Because it is cold I did layer the dress over a tight mock neck shirt from H&M which I thought looked perfect underneath.  To add a bit of colour I  wore a red beret which pulled the red from the flowers on the dress. I kept the rest of the accessories simple and just added a pair of small little gold hoops (That my little cousin who's 10 gave me of christmas... aren't they lovely <3 ) This will probably be my last post of 2017, But as soon as the new year arrives you can count on a 2017 recap post featuring my favourite looks of the year. I hope you all have an amazing new years eve and make sure to follow me on instagram if you want to see what I'll be up to.

New Years Eve Outfits !

LOOK 1
We are starting off with my favourite look of the bunch and the outfit that  I will be wearing on new years ! I bought this colourful sequin dress from H&M and I'm soooooo happy I got it because a couple of weeks later they were all gone ! I layered the dress over a sheer black bodysuit from forever 21, which I think looks perfect together.  what makes this outfit is the green (Faux) fur draped around my shoulders, I got it from Forever 21 and its seriously so warm and soft. I want to wear it everyday for the rest of the winter. And of course I had the add a little sparkle to the outfit so I put on this silver sparkly necklace and earrings.

LOOK 2
The second look is so much fun and totally something you could wear at any point in the year. I personally love wearing silver on new years so this look is perfect !  I wore this white sheer blouse from Shein and a shiny silver skirt from H&M. On top I just wore a silver "fur" coat (Tbh... not sure what material this is, its not fur but I don't know another way to describe it.... feathers? That if you actually look closer has bits of  shiny thread going through it. I think this coat is perfect especially if you live somewhere where it gets a little colder around new years. I topped the look off with a white beret and dangly silver earrings.

LOOK 3
Probably the most elegant look of the bunch which features this long sheer dress from Forever 21. I love the sparkly sequins that covers the entire dress because it gives its such a beautiful detail without it being too much. I layered the dress over a long chiffon skirt from Urban planet.  I also wore a simple black bodysuit underneath the dress and a black bralette to give it more dimension and interest to the outfit. For jewellery I just wore these silver sparkly earrings that I thought matched perfectly !
Let me know which outfit is your favourite ! I'm slightly torn but I think i'll be wearing the first outfit to ring in the new year.

Teal Fit and Flare Coat

I am seriously speechless !  Can we discuss how perfect this coat is! You guys know I am always on the hunt for a nice fit and flare coat, but  they are very difficult to find without a belt tying around the waist. I found this coat from Metisu and it is the Green Double Breasted Cinched waist coat (Link here). Not only is the shape of the coat perfect but its a coloured coat. I find that most of the coats that you see in stores are the typical colours; Blue, black, grey, red, camel, but sometimes you want a bit more colour and variety, so I am so excited to own this green coat! I paired the look with some muted tones by wearing a cream sweater underneath that has pearl detailing all around the collar, I got it from Zara a few years ago and its something I've worn countless times. I also wore  a simple houndstooth pair of shorts (not pictured) and white tights. I didn't want to break this muted colour palette so I added some taupe snake print heels. I had to accessorize a bit so I pined a  silver flower shaped brooth to the coat that also has some pearl detailing, and to top it off I added a cream beret! I hope you guys like this look, I already know this coat is going to be one of my favourites this season! If you don't follow me on instagram or Youtube (I've been doing weekly vlog as part of Vlogmas, Link to channel here ) I want to wish you the Happiest of Christmas !

Sugar Plum Christmas

Christmas is only a few days away,  I'm almost done all of my shopping ,yes I'm stressing because I'm not finished! I still have to wrap the majority of my gifts, which I think we can all agree, always takes longer than we expect it to. But I'm incredibly excited to spend a few days hanging out with my family, opening presents, eating food and watching christmas movies.  Another thing I love about this time of year is the amount of dresses and parties there are, you go into any store and its filled with party attire and sparkles. If you have a big Christmas party to go to consider going in a non-traditional dress !  This particular "Princess" dress I'm wearing is from Metisu and it is the Sky Blue Floral Embellished Lace up Midi Dress (Link here). I love the tulle skirt which is something you don't see very often in dresses anymore (At least not in the adults section). The pastel blue is dream like and makes me think of a fairy princess especially with the flower embellishment. This is the perfect dress to wear while eating some macarons and strawberry short cake, especially when wearing a silver headband.

If you want to see a small Christmas short featuring this dress make sure to check out the video below!

Three Holiday looks

Ah Christmas, Everyones favourite time of the year ! There is just a certain magic in the air that comes from everyone wanting to spend time with their family and friends. I love going to the mall and seeing people pick things out for their loved ones. There is also amazing food and christmas carols! with the holidays fast approaching I thought I would share Three christmas looks for the holidays that would be perfect for any event you might have this year! For the first look I am wearing this Maroon Midi skirt from Mendocino which has been a favourite of mine this season, I love the rich colour and dramatic draping. For my Top I am wearing this half sweater / half blouse top from Topshop..... that sounds confusing... let me explain.... The core part of the top is made out of a thin sweater but the sleeves are chiffon. I think the polka dot and oversized sleeves add such amazing detail to the outfit that you don't achieve from just a plain black top. For my hair I just tied a skinny scarf to my half up- half down do for a more 60's vibe.

The second look might be one of my favourites I am wearing this green and black plaid dress from uniqlo (Its actually from the kids section.. but hey if it fits it fits!) I find it really hard to find stuff like this in the adult section so I always browse through the kids department. I layered the dress over a white chiffon blouse From Forever 21 just to add a bit of lightness to the outfit. But I think what really ties the whole look together is the matching jacket!  I got this jacket from Lord and Taylor a couple of years back !  yes surprisingly its not a matching set but the colours and print looks perfect when paired together. I am so happy I own both pieces and absolutely adore wearing them together. For a more youthful tough I added a black leather beret from Zara.

For the last look I have something a bit more casual, I recently got these red plaid pants from H&M and they are EVERYTHING ! The print is perfect for this time of year and adds interest to any outfit. Since the pants are so loud I just wore a simple white knit sweater that is also from H&M , I've actually had this sweater for a couple of years now and its probably one of the most worn pieces in my closet. To bring the colour back in I topped the look off with a red beret that I got at winners. I hope you guys liked the looks, let me know which one was your favourite in the comments below as well as if you would like to see these looks in motion make sure you check out this post on my youtube channel (Link here)
