The Opéra Garnier was second on my list of places to visit (You'll see which one was first on a future blog post!) I walked past it last time I was in Paris but I didn't go inside. This time around I made sure to go in ! And I am so glad I did! it it STUNNING honestly one of the most beautiful interiors I've seen. It is so opulent it takes your breath away. I know no matter what I say or what photo I post, nothing will do it justice, you simply have to see it in person. I wish I could've gone to a show it would've enriched the experience, maybe next time! The Opera was built from 1861-1875.....which honestly doesn't seem that long for something so detailed. I'm pretty sure Union station in Toronto has been in construction for like 1o years and it looks terrible (Sorry). Can you imagine how beautiful it looked when it opened and everyone was dressed impeccably in their beautiful gowns and suits. I added a couple of photos at the end of the post just for fun!
