From Paris with Love

My final day in Paris, the past 5 days have been a dream! I got to visit the rest of the things I didn't have time to visit last time I was here. Thats not to say that I saw all there is to see in Paris, there are tons of places to visit and museum's to walk through! Aside from movies like Funny Face, Anastasia and Sabrina, I think what REALLY made me fall in Love with Paris and made me want to come here was the peak fashion blogger era.  I know I talk about this all the time but that time era had such a big impact on me. They created a magical world and Paris was the backdrop. Seeing them all going to Paris fashion week was a dream and I loved seeing the architecture in the background of their photos. Walking through Paris in real life feels that magical, you are surrounded by art and everything is so beautiful everywhere you turn. Truly my favourite city.

I finished my Paris trip by eating at the Oldest restaurant in Paris! Le Procope was a beautiful restaurant with large paintings on the walls and red tones. It would be amazing to eat here in the middle of winter with snow outside. We got french Onion soup to try and I ordered the Poulet Vol-Au-Vent  for lunch. It was my first time trying it and I loved it! So flavourful and the perfect ending to the Paris trip. For dessert we had a Crème BrĂ»lĂ©e.

For my outfit I kept things simple because I had to go to the airport that evening. So I wore a cream button up blouse with my knit cardigan, a vintage wool skirt (With nude tights) and black patent oxfords. And to finish the look off I wore my army green coat that I wore the entire time I was in Paris!  Such an amazing thrift find!

After Lunch I wanted a final sweet treat, I walked by Maison Mulot  and got a Lemon Tart!  I LOVE lemon desserts, In Peru where I was born, we eat a lot of lemon desserts but they taste different than the Lemon desserts we have in Canada. No offence but Canadian lemon foods desserts taste like detergent or soap lol. But French lemon pastries are the same as latin American ones. Eating this Lemon Tart was like eating a piece of my moms lemon pie! Highly recommend it if you are in the area! After that I did some more walking in the area and then headed to the airport. And that pretty much wraps up my Paris trip! Now I'm headed of to Seville, Spain so be on the lookout for those blog posts!
