I went to the Toronto Vintage Clothing show this weekend and had THE time of my life. You guys know the vintage show is my Christmas. It's where I buy the biggest bulk of my vintage pieces. And this year was no exception.... actually I lost control and had to force myself out of there LOL. I ended up finding SO many 1930s and 1940s pieces, it was incredible. It was a bit touch and go the past few seasons in regards to the amount of 1930s and 40s I was seeing. It was mostly 1970s+ with a big rise in early 2000s pieces (which I refuse ton accept as vintage... but thats a conversation for another day lol) And while those pieces were still present at this seasons show, there was a wider range of decades.
I went to the show both days, which I always recommend since vendors restock their booths. It's also a bit less crowded on Sundays so you can go through all of the booths in a calmer setting.
I actually filmed a Vlog for my youtube channel along with a HUGE haul at the end. so if you haven't seen it yet I'll link it down below so you can check it out.

ReplyDeleteI was googling Vivian Leigh a few weeks ago. Trying to get ideas on how to recreate her hair style when a picture of you came up. I clicked on your image and it brought me to your YouTube channel. I’ve watched many of your videos and think how refreshing it is to see someone truly authentic to this era. Without the bright hair colors and tats. I also see how many years you have been at this which gives a lot of content to discover. Social media may be changing but keep in mind. Your channel is still be discovered daily by new people just like me. Maybe not let it consume and keep you from a life. But maybe post something new every once in a while. 😊
