Lazy Summer Day

The summer is flying by!  I can't believe its already mid August. I feel like I've been running around all summer and I don't know where my time went. so I plan on slowing down and enjoying all summer has to offer. I have a few things planned for the rest of August so it feels like the start of summer vacation. I  wanted to share this casual vintage look, this is the type of thing I wear every day when I'm at home, running errands, or when I'm sitting in the backyard. I am wearing these navy high waisted shorts, I thrifted them but they have a 1940s look to them!  I paired that with a white short sleeved blouse that ties in a bow at the front, one of the most flattering tops I own. For shoes.... omg guys I am wearing these beige oxford shows that I LOVE but the plastic thing at the end of the heel broke!! You can see it in the photos if you look close enough. I am heartbroken !!  I have to take them to the shoe cobbler this week, and hopefully they can fix them. This was the perfect outfit to wear laying out on the grass.  I also had so much fun flipping through this vintage magazine that I got from Aberfoyle a couple of weeks ago, its from 1938 and it has such a beautiful cover !
