The sun is shining and its unseasonably warm for April. It feels amazing to be able to spend time outside without freezing or running from the car to the store. I love feeling the sun on my face and I can feel my real self thawing. I don't know if this is just me but winter Carolina is a completely different person than summer Carolina. The warm weather brings out my more playful and romantic side. If I could sum up my spring/summer self it would be a twirl, picture a skirt or dress twirling in the sun and thats me once the warm weather hits.
Weather this warm in April is rare here in Toronto so I took this opportunity to spend time outside. I am wearing this midi teal skirt that I thrifted last year and a matching teal cardigan layered over a sleeveless white collared blouse. For shoes I am wearing my saddle like oxfords from B.A.I.T, unfortunately they no longer sell this colour but here here are same shoes. I topped it all off with my vintage WWII heart locket that I wear every day! I spent years looking for this exact necklace and I finally found it at a vintage store a couple of months ago. Anyway thats all for this post, if you need me I'll be outside soaking up the sun ! Tootles!!
