AGO Style | Featuring Adrienne Naval

I recently went to the AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) with Adrienne we went to see the "Mystical landscapes" exhibit featuring works from Monet and Van Gogh and many other artist.  Unfortunately you were not allowed to take pictures at that particular exhibit, but we managed to get some pictures in other parts of the gallery.  I am a huge Art History fan, it is something I debated on studying as a life long career. Not only are the works of art beautiful, but I love the idea of seeing the brush strokes and knowing someone physically made them.  I felt this even more so when looking at paintings made by Van Gohn and Monet. While on the topic of paintings my favourite artist is Jean-Honoré Fragonard and my favourite painting is the swing, you may have seen it on my nightstand on my room tour post. The Rococo era is definitely my favourite, The colours, the flowers, beautiful dresses and all about the nobility life is definitely something that interests me! But now I am just side tracking haha

Adrienne and I actually wore matching shirts to the Gallery, but in different colours (because we are cool like that lol)  its fun to see how you can create two completely different looks based on what you pair it with! The shirt is from Zara, but Due to their sale it looks like the white one might be sold out already... but the black one Adrienne is wearing is still in stock and on sale ! if you are interested click here!  Since mine was white I decided to pair it with this beige high waisted skirt... because i am not going to lie I thought it would match the aesthetic of the gallery... yes i am that person.  To dress us the blouse I added 2 brooches which is something i've been really into lately... because whats better than a brooch... 2 brooches.  To keep things simple I wore black tights and a black beret ! If you want to see the details for Adriennes' outfit make sure you check out her post here!
