Happy Friday ! It's finally the weekend ! I am celebrating by wearing this sailor inspired coat which I recently purchased at forever 21 (linked below!) My favourite part about the coat is the "emoji" style patches on the lapels, it's such a fun an youthful twist on a classic looking coat. I also love the detailing on the sleeves ! I'm not going to lie I have my fair share of navy coats with gold buttons but this one definitely stands out. So if you are looking for something a bit more unique this is the right coat for you ! Since the coat is a bit more on the longer side I paired with small high waisted shorts (with black tights) and a cream blouse. I love how since the shorts are a bit on the shorter side it makes it seem as if the coat is a dress (idk why but I love that look !) And of course! The outfit wouldn't be complete without a beret! i tried to pull from different colours on the patches and yellow seemed to be the perfect fit!
