Houndstooth and yellow hat

Aaaand just like that the snow is gone!! and i couldn't be happier about it. All of this week and next week is suppose to be really warm so i am hoping that spring has finally arrived....although in canada who really knows, we've gotten snow in April before.. They are saying that we're getting an early spring so fingers crossed! so far this week has been extremely uneventful but i am hoping that this weekend makes up for it! since the weather is nice i am going to try to do some outdoor activities, i miss the sunshine <3 and although i said i wouldn't i did give in and bought a couple of spring pieces that i cant wait to wear! my self control towards buying clothing is non-existent.  For this outfit i tried to bring in a little bit of colour with this vibrant rubber duck yellow hat! (i REALLY want a coat in this colour! so if you see one tweet it to me!) and paired it with a plain cream turtleneck, i think that turtlenecks are still completely appropriate for this time of year, they can be thin in material but still keep your neck warm, its nice outside but the wind is still a bit chilly so i think its perfect. As for the skirt this is one of my favourites!  houndstooth is just a print i cant get enough of, it matches so many things and makes any outfit look more elegant.
