My Week In Peru

After what felt like the shortest week ever I am back from Peru, I swear time flew by so fast! There was a lot of food (sorry for the amount of food pics) and a lot of laughs. I am so happy I was able to go back to Peru after 11years  and that I was able to see so many family members who I  haven't seen in person in numerous years. I also ate all of my favourite foods and candies that we Don't have here in Canada such as Suspiro Limeno and lucuma ice cream, my absolute favourite foods. I did a little bit of shopping but nothing too intense, I was more so focused on spending time with family and eating all the amazing food. I swear we ate every meal at a restaurant the whole week, I'm surprised my clothes still fit. I also included my travel diary which includes a few more clips of things I was up to while in Peru (tons of food clips, you've been warned)

Overall Stripes

Has anyone else been really into overalls lately? I found this pair at forever 21 recently and I am honestly in love! They are so flattering and different from any other type of overall I've seen. They again have a slight 70's vibe which you know I've been obsessed with lately. I love the distressed hem at the bottom which is everywhere right now. I've been buying so many jeans with distressed hems and with an wide leg as opposed to skinny jeans. I Paired the overalls with this striped light blue and burnt orange mock neck shirt that goes perfectly with the 70's vibes! I also wore these burgundy leather cross slip on sandals that I cant seem to stop wearing they are so comfortable and match pretty much everything !

Floral Dreams

Hello Happy Friday! I hope you guys had a wonderful week, I've spent the past couple of days in Peru visiting some family, last time that I visited I was 12 so I'm excited to be back and look at all the places I went to when I lived here. Make sure to follow me on instagram so you can see the pictures of what I'm up to while I'm here! :) Back home it's the beginning of spring and I've been looking forward to switching over my closet, which will have to wait till after I get home ! I did start to pull out some floral dresses on warmer days and this dress was one of the first ones that came out. I am obsessed with its feminine shape  and floral print. Its perfect for daytime wear seeing as its made out of a soft cotton material and I love how it flows perfectly when running around. I paired it with this straw hat that has a bow at the back which helped complete this girly look. These pictures were taken by my awesome friend Tess Goris ! She's an amazing photographer so make sure to check out her instagram (link here) and website (link here)

Patched up Jeans

Happy Wednesday ! Its the middle of the week so i thought I would share a more casual outfit than I normally go for. I am wearing these AH-MAZING patched up jeans that I got from Zara in the fall. It was really late when I got them so I wasn't able to get much wear out of them so I am thrilled to take them out for the spring! I love the floral detailing as well as the other random things on it such a the lips and cassettes which gives it a vintage feel to them. I am obsessed with the shape and cut of these jeans they are so flattering and comfortable to wear ! I've never really been a denim fan but how can you say no to these colourful pants !  There is also a slit at the bottom of the pants which I think is such an interesting detail that you don't see very often ! I tried to pull some colours from the pants so I chose this bright coloured coral knit sweater that is such a fun colour for spring ! As for shoes I just wore plain nude heels for a little bit of height (I always want height seeing as i stand at 5'5).  As I mentioned before on a previous post I am leaving to go to Peru today ! So make sure you follow me on instagram so you don't miss out on some fun posts ! :)

Fairy Blue

Spring dresses are probably my favourite kind of dresses, who doesn't love a pastel dress! I'm currently obsessed with this light blue and yellow dress from Metisu (link here) I always feel like  fairy while wearing it. I really like the slight fit and flare shape of it as well as the excess tulle, I feel like it gives it a very magical look to it. I tied a ribbon around the waist with a bow, just for a girly touch. I kept the rest of the outfit minimal with plain nude shoes just so that the dress is the main focus of the outfit. As a little update I'm going to Peru on Wednesday so make sure you follow me on instagram (link here) so you can see what I'm up to, I'll be posting tons of pictures throughout my trip!
