Mustard Scarf

i have been obsessed with tying thin scarves around my neck, its just another way for me to add a bow to my outfit haha! i kept the outfit neutral and simple and used the scarf as a pop of colour, but so that it wouldn't be to boring i swapped my plain black tights for some printed ones.  i love the combination of prints between the scarf and the tights, i am not one to mix prints very often becayse i often find it distracting but i am currently trying to experiment with that idea and i am having so much fun! since i was using a black purse i added a pom pom that matched the scarf just to tie the colours together. Aldo i don't think this outfit would be complete without a red lip!

Happy Easter 2016

It is easter sunday! i hope you are all having a wonderful easter weekend are spending time time with family and eating tons of chocolate! i of course picked up a festive shirt with some bunnies on it and paired it with one of my favourite tweed shorts. i was getting some chanel vibes so i spent some time reading my chanel book :)  and what would and easter outfit be without bunny ears haha! i am hanging out with family and eating some peruvian food (not very easter-y but delicious!)  i don't think i'll be able to move tonight with all of the food we are eating.... and then chocolate after haha... send help!

Triangl Bikini

i have been meaning to do this post for some time now, i was just waiting for the weather to get a little bit warmer. it's only march here in canada so we are no where near beach weather but definitely an improvement from winter.  For those lucky enough living in warmer climates or heading off on vacation soon you can use this information right now... for everyone else (like me!) still in the cold you can keep it in mind for the upcoming summer :)
Triangl bikinis have been around for some time now,  you would have seen them if you have any form of social media particularly instagram. i received this one a couple of months ago but i am lucky enough to own 2 pairs. i own Milly in santa rosa splash, which you can see in a blog post here! and this one which is also Milly in pretty in paris.
i am a huge fan of triangl bikinis ! they are made out of Neoprene (the stuff wetsuits are made out of) and they mold to your body perfectly, i was a little afraid that the top would be too big on me  but the XS moulded to my body perfectly (i am a 32B.) Also the good thing about Neoprene is that you don't have to worry about your bikini sliding around ! bonus for waterslides and jumping in and out of the pool.
For all of you feeling a little skeptical about the high prices and if they are worth the money.... i think you are paying for the quality and not the brand, there is a reason these bikinis have such a high price mark. The bikinis are so perfectly made and the material/stitching is incredible. i know there are some "mock" ones out there and while i have not tried them i have seen them in store and the quality just isn't quite there... don't get me wrong!  they are great bikinis! and for a lower price they are a great option. But if you really want to invest in quality i would recommend triangl :)
Overall i am very pleased and happy with triangl bikinis and how cute is the packaging they come in!

Angora pink

It is a windy day here.... when will the days of flowy summer dresses come.... i don't know but i am patiently waiting. The beginning of spring is always an interesting time here, some days are warm and some days give you flashbacks of winter. When its super cold outside i tend to hide inside under a blanket (or i try to anyway haha) for this outfit i grabbed this light pink angora sweater because its incredibly soft and the colours seemed appropriate from spring. i layered it overtop of a sleeveless blouse with a bow tied at the front for a femenine touch...as if the light pink wasn't enough haha. i grabbed one of my favourite shorts, houndstooth of course and i cant help but get 90's vibes when wearing this outfit.  (now i want to watch cluless...) Not to mention the white pompom attached to my purse. This past weekend was very uneventful i went shopping all day friday and then to dinner at all you can eat japanese restaurant. Saturday and sunday were fairly relaxed and spent some time with family :)

Pink coat for spring

The spring time is the perfect opportunity to experiment with different colours and to be a little bolder with your outfits. i am obsessed with this pink coat, its a great statement piece that goes perfectly with so many outfits.  i paired it with this Argyle sweater that has the same pink on it with a camel colour and white. The sweater is a v neck and it looked a bit bear when i put the jacket on so i layered a sleeveless blouse with a collar on it underneath, and i think it is the perfect pairing. For the first time this year i put on a skirt with no tights! yayy for warmer weather!! by doing this i realized how pale i really am lol i need a tan so badly haha... i reflect light. As for shoes, of course i needed my heels so i grabbed some tan ones to bring that colour back into the outfit as well as i chose the same colour for the bag.  Ant to to top it off i added a white headband !
I hope you all have an amazing weekend (its a long weekend here) filled with warm weather and a bit of shopping ;)
