Black Polka Dot

I am calling it now... you'll be seeing me in a lot of overalls this fall/winter, they are going to be all the rage! Ok so this is technically just a romper but when layered over a shirt it becomes overalls... yes ? no? just roll with it. This romper is from Topshop and in loveee with the purple and black polka dot print !  I don't normally wear purple, not because I don't like it (because I do!) it's just  very difficult to find in stores. As soon as I saw this little number on the rack I knew I had to have it ! especially because of the beautiful ruffles on the front. It sort of gives me a 1950's house wife apron vibe but I am living for it. I paired it with this thin sweater from Topshop that has these amazing oversized chiffon sleeves. Its a little hard to see on camera but they have a lovely black polka dot print all over them. I finished the look off with this black beret that has pearls all over it, which I thought went hand in hand with the polka dot theme I had going on. Let me know your thoughts on this look in the comments below and as always all of my social media links are on the side bar!

Glossier Pop-Up Shop

Glossier announced that they are finally shipping to Canada! They celebrated by Opening a one week only pop up shop in Toronto located on 1056 Queen St West. There was a bit of a line up to go inside but it moves pretty fast so don't be discouraged. On the inside there are stations set up all around the room that have all of the available products (I believe there was only two kinds of set ups one for makeup and one for skincare, with duplicates around the room) the stations are divided by beautiful pink fabric hanging from the ceiling. There is also a "living room" type set up which is amazing for pictures as you saw above, the theme is all red pink and white. Once you have selected the items you want, make sure you know what the product is and what colour you want because you have to order it off an Ipad with an associate. Within a few moments your name is called with your purchase ready to go ! It was a really fun experience and I was super excited to test out some products seeing as I wasn't able to test them before ! If you want to see what I bought and my first impression make sure you check out the video on my youtube channel (Link here)

As for what I wore to the pop up, Me being Me, I had to match the theme so I grabbed this sheer ruffly shirt that I got when I was in Spain and it is from the brand Amite but I got it at El Corte Ingles.  I paired it with a red skirt from Forever 21, nude heels and of course the hoop like earrings I got in Spain which have been on my blog way too much since I got them ! The outfit matched the location perfectly, More so than I had imagined!  I hope you like this post and hopefully you get a chance to check out the pop up shop before it closes.

Toronto Fashion Week

Hello! I hope you are all doing well ! and have a great weekend ahead. On Wednesday I attended day two of Toronto Fashion Week! I was able to watch two shows, one was Bustle which is a menswear brand that was founded in 2002 by Shawn Hewson and Ruth Promislow, who has become well known for its cheeky twist on menswear classics! I loved that they included women and children into the show, it resulted in a really fun combination ! As well as the music matched the collection perfectly! The second show I attended was UTTLD, which has a luxurious aesthetic that reflects a masculine femininity and elegance, The designers are Jose Manuel St-Jacues and Simon Belanger. The show itself  was beautiful the beginning of the runway showed and eclipse and the whole cat walk filled with smoke. The clothes we beautiful with some really incredible details that make them stand out.  Both shows were so different but amazing in their own way, if you want to see some fotage from the shows I posted a video on my youtube channel (link here)

As for my outfit I am wearing This romper from Romwe (Link to site) but unfortunately it sold out over the past couple of days. Romwe does have a bunch of other amazing  floral print jumpsuits such as this cranes print jumpsuit (link here) and this pale green floral jumpsuit (link here), If you wanted something a little bit brighter and with more colour there is also this off the shoulder blue floral jumpsuit (link here). Since it was a bit colder the day off the show I wore a white chiffon blouse underneath, which pulled in some of the lighter colours on the romper. There are some black details on the romper so I grabbed some black accessories, starting with my beret which is from coach, my patent leather back which is thrifted and some simple black heels. The finishing touch to the outfit were these gold hoops that i got in Spain that I cant seem to stop wearing ! They are so perfect!

What I wore in the Canary Islands + Travel Diary

Look 1 : Red Floral

I had an incredible time in the canary islands over the past few week so I thought I would share 3 of my favourite outfits from my trip !  One of the first looks I wore was this red flowy red dress from Ardene. I got this a few days before I left while I searched for a bathing suit cover up but I ended up loving it so much I just left it as a regular dress. I love the beautiful cream flowers with the pale green leaves I think its a nice change from the pastel flowers you usually see. I paired the dress with some camel coloured flats and tied my hair with a red ribbon, which gave me major Brigitte Bardot vibes!

Look 2: Polka Dot Pink

This was hands down my faovurite look from my trip !  I bought this pink romper from Zara specifically for my trip because of the bright colour and thin material!  I've been really into polka dots for the summer so I was happy to find this romper to end the summer off with. the shape of the romper is really flirty with the wide sleeves/shorts and the cinched in waist. I paired the romper with some simple white lace flats, my gold locket and these circle (not quite hoop) earrings that I got while I was in seville. If you haven't seen my seville vlog click here.

Look 3: Striped Pants

The last outfit is another colourful one. I wore these amazing stripe pants (my clown pants lol) They are from Zara and they were perfect for my trip !  They are made out of this super thin breezy material which was perfect for the heat on the island. The bright colours went hand in hand with the colours of the things around me, the ocean, leaves and flowers. I of course had the pair the outfit with a straw hat, this was one out of two hats I brought on my trip... yess I wore two hats, one stacked over the other to the airport lol. For shoes I just wore these tan leather flats which I wore to death to death during my whole trip ! Make sure to watch my Canary island travel diary below to see what I was up to on my trip ! as well as Subscribe to my channel to see my up and coming Spain haul!

Regal Red Lace

Red is such a beautiful colour, its passionate as well as romantic. I would say It's my favourite colour to wear, simply because I love the impact it has and the rich colour. I also think it compliments brown hair nicely with both having warm undertones. If you’ve been following me for a while you would know how much I love lace so when I saw this dress I knew I had to have it ! This dress  is from Metisu and it is the Red Hollow Out Lace Embroidered Midi Dress (Link Here) It has such a feminine shape with the cinched in waist. But My favourite part is probably the way the lace looks on the arms because they don't have a liner so you can really see the details against the colour of the skin. I paired the dress with a small gold clutch and black strappy heels. Whats your favourite colour to wear?
