Hello ! I hope you had an amazing weekend ! It's a long weekend here in Toronto..... its not a real holiday its a civic holiday, so basically a made up holiday so that we have a long weekend in August haha. But HEY! no complains from me that means a longer weekend and I can spend more time with friends ! On Saturday night I went to dinner with my friend Mikayla. We went to Sotto Sotto, an italian restaurant. I added some Iphone photos below so that you can see what I ate! I wore a white lace dress that has flutter sleeves and ruffles around the collar. Some would consider it vintage but its an "all that jazz" dress. Probably from the late 90s, so to me that would be in the "modern" section of my closet. And yes even my modern clothes have to have a feminine vintage flare to them haha. I added a purple flower brooch, made from some flowers I found at the thrift sore. I actually wore this brooch twice this weekend... but more on that later! My handbag is a little beaded bag I thrifted. I've actually been using this handbag a lot since I got it. It matches everything and it has a delicate quality to it so it compliments my summer outfits beautifully. Dinner was delicious, it was my first time going to to Sotto Sotto and honestly the food was incredible! The service wasn't the best, but it felt more like they were short staffed (waiting a long time for drinks/bill, got offered bread that never arrived, patio was a big crammed etc) However the food was really good so I'll probably be going back, and I hope that those were one time issues. Sorry if thats a bit too honest but if I'm mentioning a restaurant I want to be truthful in case one of you guys decides to check it out. Overall I had a great night and even if we waiting a long time at the restaurant Mikayla and I didn't mind as much since we were having such great conversation. What were you up to this weekend ??
