I've always loved mid length plaid skirts I think they are so feminine and youthful. They almost make me feel nostalgic for a time i wasn't even born, does anyone else get that feeling sometimes? It's such a strange phenomenon, when a piece of clothing or music takes you back to a time you never lived? This is perfectly illustrated in the movie Midnight In Paris [Trailer] If you haven't it I recommend it especially if you feel like you belong in another time era. But anyway back to this outfit I am wearing this Vintage plaid skirt that I picked up at the Toronto Vintage Market last year. And for my top I am wearing a black turtleneck that used to belong to my mom, I'm making it my goal to avoid wearing white tops because its so predictable, I chose black because it went perfectly with the black in the plaid. For shoes I just wore these simple black block heels, tied my hair in a bow and added a big heart locket! I think they add a feminine touch to the whole look.
