Summer Lookbook 2018

Hello Happy Friday ! I wanted to finally share my Summer Lookbook with you guys !  I know its a little bit late seeing as its already mid July but better late than never (Why do I feel like I say that a lot?... anyway) Starting off with one of my favourite looks, I have this long sleeve floral dress from Shein and it is the Layered Sleeve Daisy Print Dress (Link here.) I paired the dress with these cream coloured boots from Forever 21 (Link here) These were a recent purchase and I love them ! They have a 1960's look to them which you guys know I love, but I think what really drew me to them is that they are cream instead of white... because lets face it I don't need another  pair of white boots haha.  For my bag I grabbed this straw bag that I bought in a Street market in Peru. I regret not getting more of these types of bags from there because they had a huge variety and they were really cheap compared to one of the fast fashion stores. As well as buying from a local market, where the items are hand made, definitely goes a longer way than from a chain store. unfortunately I didn't have enough space in my bag to buy more... sigh.. oh well next time!

The Second look has a bit more of a nautical vibe with the striped hat and red and cream tones, which makes this look perfect for the summer ! Starting with the main part of the outfit, the matching set, I got this one from Shein last summer so it's unfortunately not available anymore (Weh) Its made from this really thin linen-like material, making it really lightweight and perfect for the warmer weather. I layered that over a simple red vogue T-shirt. But what really pulls this outfit together is the hat!  I recently got this hat from Free People (As seen in my last haul, click here) The hat is made by Brixton and it is still in stock an on sale (Click here.) I also wore some simple black block heels and grabbed a black circle bag that my boyfriend gave me for Christmas.

The Third look is actually my favourite look out of the bunch ! I think its so cute! and guess what?? would you believe me if I told you that I've had this dress since I was 7? WELL ITS TRUE! I found it recently and got it hemmed so that it would be a little bit shorter (Gotta love the oversized look form the 90's...) I think the dress looks adorable especially when layered over a ruffle sleeved blouse. This particular blouse is from Zara but I got it about 2 years ago, so it is no longer available, but I did find this awesome dupe! (Link here) I might have to get one of these myself in case something happened to the one I am wearing. For accessories I just wrapped a  skinny scarf (Thrifted) around my ponytail, which added to the femininity of the dress. I definitely want to find more of these types of dressers,  that are a bit bulkier and bell out but are on the shorter side  (Smock dress?) I think they are really flattering and just overall fun to wear!

For the last look of the lookbook I have another red look... What can I say... you all know red is my favourite colour to wear.  I have this red and white chiffon skirt that I recently picked up from the Zara Sale, Unfortunately its no longer on the website but you might be able to find in stores still ! I paired the skirt with a red and white polka dot blouse that I thrifted. I love mixing prints by inverting the colour, if you would like to know more about how I mix prints I have a whole video on it ! (Link here.) To top the look off I just grabbed a red beret because I think it matched the Parisian vibes of the outfit. If you would like to see more of these looks as well as a BONUS summer look make sure to check out the video below !
