60's Green

Ahhh how amazing is this green dress!  I recently got this from a vintage sale for $20! I am seriously so obsessed with it I love the colour and the print, green was never a colour I ever gravitated towards but it seems like I've collected so many green dresses for this upcoming season! I pared the dress with these little cream coloured booties from Forever 21 and some vintage green circle earrings. I think that definitely gave the look an even more 60's feel to it. Tweed Light Blue Jacket

Another gorgeous spring day ! I finally get to wear this light blue tweed coat that I got around christmas time. I get excited but sad when I find spring/summer clothes in the winter because its exciting to have a new piece for the next season but then I'm sad because I cant wear it right away. Anyway I layered the jacket over a cream coloured dress from Zara and added some knee high cream socks. But the best part of the outfit has to be the matching beret !  I bought this beret when I was in Paris and I knew it would match this jacket perfectly! its so funny that both berets that I bought in Paris were in mind to wear with new spring coats I had haha. I hope you guys like this post let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

Lavender Tights

Here is another Spring look from my Lookbook ! if you haven't watched it yet make sure you check it out ! [Link here] For this look I am wearing this coat/dress ? (I'm not quite sure where to peg it tbh) It can be worn as either in my opinion! Either way for todays look I am wearing it with a cream turtleneck and some lavender tights that match the lavender on the dress. You guys know I love overly matching I think its so much fun ! So of course I had to pull out these Fun coloured tights. As for my shoes I am wearing my white ankle boots that you guys have seen me wear a 100 times probably! and for my hair I just wore it half up half down with a bow hair clip.... which its actually a hair clip my mom wore when she was little and then I wore it when I was little and still wear it lol. Peach jacket

Its almost the end of April and I am so excited for there to be flowers everywhere! And for the weather to get even warmer.  I switched over my closet this weekend so I am even more excited that I'm surrounded by pastel coloured clothing haha. One of the pieces that I know I'll be wearing all spring is this little peach coloured jacket!  Its absolutely stunning and such a unique colour ! I picked this up from the Ian Drummond Collection sale (so its vintage) and its quickly become one of my favourite pieces !  when I was in Paris I found this peach coloured jacket and I KNEW it would match this jacket perfectly so of course I had to buy it ! and what do you know, It looks amazing together. How do you feel about overly matching outfits ??

Circle Buckle

I have been waiting since the beginning of the year to be able to wear this outfit !  I found this Sweater and skirt at Zara during their winter sale and I knew they HAD to be worn together.  I am obsessed with the circle buckle on the skirt I think its so unique and gives it a more 1960s vibe. Its not a matching set but the colours on the sweater match pretty well to the skirt.... and you guys know how I feel about matching sets haha. I literally thrive of putting 2 pieces together making it seems like they are matching. Under the sweater I wore a cream turtleneck and of course some cream coloured tights to tie the look together. Vintage Plaid Skirt

I've always loved mid length plaid skirts I think they are so feminine and youthful. They almost make me feel nostalgic for a time i wasn't even born, does anyone else get that feeling sometimes?  It's such a strange phenomenon, when a piece of clothing or music takes you back to a time you never lived? This is perfectly illustrated in the movie Midnight In Paris [Trailer] If you haven't it I recommend it especially if you feel like you belong in another time era. But anyway back to this outfit I am wearing this Vintage plaid skirt that I picked up at the Toronto Vintage Market last year. And for my top I am wearing a black turtleneck that used to belong to my mom, I'm making it my goal to avoid wearing white tops because its so predictable, I chose black because it went perfectly with the black in the plaid.  For shoes I just wore these simple black block heels, tied my hair in a bow and added a big heart locket! I think they add a feminine touch to the whole look. Let me know what you guys think of this look in the comments below!

Black Cape and Lace

It's SLOWLY starting to warm up here so I've been wearing some "transition outfits" in hopes that spring will arrive. I still haven't switched over my closet for the new season but I have a feeling I'll be able to do that this month! I was thinking of doing a spring inspiration post with images that inspire me and showing you pieces I will be wearing this upcoming season. I keep seeing posts about "spring trends" but I  realized that I normally don't follow trends especially over the past year I'm pretty much doing my own thing. But if your style is similar to mine I think it would be helpful ! Let me know if thats something you would be interested in seeing. As for this outfit I am wearing this black cape from Zara, I've had it for a couple of years!  and as much as I love capes they are slightly uncomfortable to wear because you cant move your arms as much, They are definitely something I wear when I'm going to coffee or on a leisurely walk. Under the cape I am wearing a blouse that has this AMAZING lace collar which I placed over the cape and,  I think it gives it a really unique look ! For extra warmth I wore a turtleneck which is what peaks out from the arms holes. To keep the black and white theme going I just wore these black shorts and white tights.
